Active Older Adults Exercise An exercise class that promotes increased strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. Class design is specific for seniors and those who wish to ease their way into fitness. Active Older Adults Weight Training This class will help strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and range of motion in a sociable environment. Active Older Adults Balance This class adopts a multidimensional approach to improve balance and mobility. Most suitable for older adults who are beginning to experience balance problems that would benefit from this focused training. Active Older Adults Tai Chi Engaging the brain, body, and balance… Active Older Adults learn to perform this ancient Chinese form of Martial Arts. The low impact nature of the Tai Chi movements makes the class especially suitable for those wishing to protect their joints. Silver Sneakers® Classic Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises to improve strength, range of motion, and daily-living skills. You will use hand-held weights, elastic tubing handles and a ball for resistance, and a chair for seated and/or standing support.
